Religion, most of them are very similar, is fine, full of good ideas for society.
The problem is religious nut jobs and intolerance.

The problem is it's all man made. Most promise an after life if you follow them. Some even give special allowances for men over women, and further allowances, many wives etc. Some makes those at the top very rich through a percentage of wages each month in their work life, going to the religion.

I disagree. I think nutjobs will always find something to fight about. If religion didn't exist it would be something else.

It isn't religion or nations that cause problems, it's idiots.

I get that. There are plenty of idiots as you say who both believe in a religion and don’t. Unfortunately it’s always those extreme idiots who take it to far.

The fighting/conflict we see is about oppression and power. Oppressing minorities, others, women etc.

Religion is a convenient excuse to some, but many religions are built around a power-system and structure that facilitates oppression. Even 'peaceful' religions are often oppressive to women and minorities and reinforce inequity.

So it's not as simple as to say 'all conflicts come from religion' or 'if religion didn't exist people would still fight'.

We as a human race really have done a great job in ****ing things up.

I'd become a dog if I didn't have to lick my own arse. I'm not going there again.

In my opinion it is. If there was no religion people would find something else to argue/fight about, like football, for example. I don't know of one religion that preaches violence, but idiots still consider it necessary to fight in the name of it, and I believe those people would just be passionate/violent about something else.

Sexism etc. within a religion is, to me, a different issue. But, again, no religion I know of preaches violence towards either sex.

Bought some avocados for lunch and apparently 'ripe and ready to eat' actually means mushy on the outside, rock hard and crunchy in the middle.

Maybe it's my fault for being such a ponce.

Seeing kids paying 10 quid or more to private firms try to get a driving test .. surely the government booking system should have a cancellation waiting list that is free. They pay enough for lessons insurance and the poxy test as it is ...
