In Morrison's at Hadleigh around mid-day ( hardly anyone in there! ), when woman in her 20's walks in wearing a mask & her black boyfriend hasn't got one on.
You could tell by his strutting gait that he was itching for a row, & didn't disappoint.
Security wouldn't let him enter after he said he wasn't exempt, & started kicking off with the old racist card, that being the reason he wasn't allowed in was because he was black FFS!.
3 of them escorted him to the door ( his girlfriend left with him ), whilst he was ranting & raving all the time.
What is wrong with these people??.

I was just giving a report of the incident i witnessed. Had it been a Chinese or Arabic individual for example, i would have described them as such.

I am sure that we saw him walk in to Morrison's last week with no mask , have to say standards have slipped there in the last couple of weeks .

When i went there last Thurs, there was a 'lump' on the door. Today there were 2 male workers & a female one, by the entrance barrier, not the door.

My missus has certain issues which means she can’t shop alone.

You see, the problem is she likes to spend our money on crap we don’t need, and without me being there to supervise, she can get a bit carried away.

I haven’t checked the exemption rules, but I presume this reason is valid.

In truth, I have great difficulty pushing a full trolley with my back and arthritis, so while I'm fine shopping for a few days, if I'm doing a full week's shop then I need hubby or son to push the trolley. There doesn't seem to be any understanding that sometimes people do need to shop in pairs for physical reasons rather than medical.

Yes I understand all that - but as usual some people take the ****. No problem with me and the missus as we normally shop separately - cannot be done together - she is too slow

No. My son doesn't drive for starters. They are both ok going to the shops for a few specific items, but every time I have tried to give hubby a list, then there's been stuff missing, or stuff on date or just wrong stuff.

I shop with my eyes, look for bargains and deals and plan the meals. Plus I am the one who eats most of the fruit and veg in the house so I like to see what is available. Like I said, I shop on my own if doing a shop for a few days, but if it's a big shop then I need one or other of them.

Also, if I am making use of my son's supermarket staff discount scheme, he HAS to be with me to use the card - so, that's hardly my fault.
