Just seen a guy at 7am get of the train at Benfleet in work clothes, pushing a bike.

He sparked a can of Fosters as soon as he was out of the station.

I hope he is on his way home otherwise he must have one hell of a tedious job.

I once saw a guy on the train to work one morning (and I mean early - about 6.30am) surreptitiously swigging from a vodka bottle he kept in his inside jacket pocket.

Poor guy.

They are celebrating living in Leigh and winning at life.
And annoying all their neighbours in the process. The garden that backs onto mine regularly turned the “clapping for the NHS” into a full on fireworks display every Thurs in the first lockdown. Actual fireworks night, hmm 4/10. Most disappointing to be honest.

Since it was summer (or at least warm) we opened all the windows and my son turned his amp up to full volume and got on his drum kit. The neighbours loved it!

You sure? Haha. My neighbour has had a few impromptu guitar/singing sessions, he’s actually alright so I didn’t mind that.

Great to hear .. community spirit here has been great to be honest, little moans aside. Neighbours have rallied round.

It’s always good to have nice neighbours. My neighbours are pests tbh. The arsehole next door kept banging on the wall at 3am the other night.

Luckily I was playing my drum set at the time, or I would have been really annoyed.

Got a week off this week, went to Morrisons this morning to order our (non Turkey) Christmas Dinner and was told it was out of stock and couldn't be ordered. Starter that I wanted for Boxing Day ditto. Not impressed. Didn't intend to spend my week off trawling the shops!

Just go to M&S on Canvey and get the velvet rope treatment.
