What grounds have you been to?

Thats up to you, but i'm just intrested to see where people have been and to see if anyone has been to any random or really important games.

Why be an idiot about it?
If you want random games then Wembley for Stoke vs Stockport in the Leyland cup final

My most random game was probably Notts Forest V Luton Littlewoods Cup Final 89 (?), also Chelsea v Middlesbrough relegation/promotion play-off in 1988 when it proper kicked off cos Chelsea were relegated.

I've lost count, and as many clubs now have moved stadiums I can't be arsed to count. I've been to places like Barrow, Newport, Bradford PA & Southport all of whom have dropped out of the Football League.

I'll never make the 92 club as I'll never go to Franchise FC.

Roker Park
Highbury
Bootham Crescent
Goldstone
Filbert Street
Elm Park
Maine Road
Millmoor

46 grounds from the league and 3 non league grounds (some of the clubs may have moved grounds e.g Derby) but I still count them

105 in total, all in either the League, FA Cup or League Cup plus one game at Inverness.

It includes one Charity Shield, 3 FA Cup Finals (Arsenal v Newcastle, Man U v Millwall and Arsenal v Man U).

Most random game was Leicester v Middlesbrough, we were on our way to another match but got stuck in a monster am on M1. It went off massively afterwards and I ended up stacking the car.

I don't count the non-league grounds I've been to as a referee or a casual spectator the list is below (sadly in order), it doesn't include Aylesbury or Dagenham where I've reffed.

A number of English league and non-league grounds, can't be arsed to list them all right now to be honest.

Been to Monaco's home ground for a game with a few of the lads on here and regularly attend Brisbane Roar games at Suncorp Stadium. Going to Skilled Stadium in Gold Coast on Boxing Day for the SE Queensland derby.

I've seen all of the current 92 play at home except ... Liverpool, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Accrington, Morecambe and Burton plus every former FL club that now ply their trade elsewhere .. as was pointed out earlier unless we make a return to L2 (please god no) i will never complete the lot as i don't have the enthusiasm, time or money i had 20 years ago to just jump on a train to go see a game when we were not playing

I've been to a couple of Cup Finals, and was shown on telly at the 1990 replay covered in blood after gashing my head, a Man United v Liverpool game with fans openly brawling all around the ground both inside and out, Brentford vs Chester in about '86 because i'd never been to Griffin Park as Brentford were always in a higher division than us (how times change, though they've finally caught us up again obviously) ... i've been there about 8 million times now and it remains a complete git of a journey .. also very random would be Darlington vs Col Ewe at the old Feethams in a relegation decider which the sheep fanciers unfortunately won, though their fans were literally smashed to pieces on the terracing which was of some consolation i guess

Le Stade Velodrome in Marseille - for England's World Cup '98 group match v Tunisia. Me, BarnaBlue & Richie C were in with the Tunisian fans as they were the only tickets the tout had. Instead of a replica shirt, one Tunisian lad had a number 8 scrawled on his back with the name of one of their players above it. Paul Scholes scored a beauty just in front of us to make it 2-0 with seven minutes to go. I'm the white guy jumping up to applaud if you ever see it!

Both important and random and probably one of the best atmosphere's I've ever been to was Liverpool vs Barcelona, second leg of the UEFA Cup semi-final in 2001, Gary Macallister scored from the spot to put Liverpool through and the Kop was amazing.

Craven Cottage, Upton Park, White Hart Lane, Old Trafford, Anfield, Stamford Bridge and the Emirates are all the Premiership ones I've been to but haven't been to many other FL grounds. Going to the Nou Camp in October which I'm looking forward to.

Also seen a very random game on a Greek island in the middle of nowhere at the Alexandros Dimitrious stadium! I say stadium, it was 1 block of about 100 seats and there were probably more people on the pitch than watching that day!
