Whereabouts you going?

I'm off to Portland, Oregon on April 6 where my good lady is already in residence ahead of the birth of mini-Rusty mk3 towards the end of April. Going to stay there for a little while, but if there are play-off games to attend, I shall make a brief return of course.

The X-Files will go on steveo, I imagine my post count will fly up to OBL/Aberdeen levels when I'm over there and have nobody with whom to discuss those Mighty Shrimpers.

Not being nosey I just find it intriguing why people move top other countries.

Nothing lined up yet, but hopefully will get something sorted out in IT or Finance. The missus has a good job lined up over there so I've got some time to have a look around. I don't think things are quite as bad over there as they are here workwise but I'm sure I won't just be strolling into a job.

My missus is a fully-fledged Seppo, and I have US citizenship through my Momma (see, I can even speak the lingo), and we both fancied a change. Oregon's a beautiful state and seems like a good place to bring up a nipper. I'm also going to be a lot closer to my boy who lives in Western Canada which is a huge plus.

Sorry to take this thread so far off topic, but blame that nosey ******* steveo. ;)
