Question What are you reading?

"Be careful what you wish for" - Simon Jordan - so far excellent - An in your face account of an owner/chairman. Unlike most autos not afraid to name names .
At this rate I'll start to feel sorry for Ron.

I am reading Red Card Roy at the moment and finding it interesting but also sad with reflections on a career that could/should have been so much more.

Absolutely- this one is about a peripheral character in some of the Bosch books - hoping that Harry wil make a guest appearance somewhere.

Just read the recap and I remember reading this one. No Bosch as far as I recall, but a stonker of a book. I still remember some of the scenes vividly.

Have to agree a great book - Harry does not appear but is alluded to in one scene.

Have moved onto "For Kicks" - By Dick Francis - who is a famous (sadly now departed) author & not a name often shouted at our fromer Right Back.

Not sure - doesn't have a number as is part of a omnibus set of 3 stories - I have just looked it up & they are 5-7 - with Mortal Causes being no7.

Cheers.
You're way ahead of me.I've only read Knots and Crosses and Standing in another man's grave. Both excellent.

Nae bother son. - I haven't read them in order & got into a bit of a panic when I saw the list trying to remember which ones i have read - there are also a couple of books of shorts by Ian Rankin many of which feature Rebus - I think one is called Beggars Banquet ( Like their stones do Rebus & Rankin)
