I saw Secret Affair at The Paddocks around 1979 on the March of the Mods Tour. Cracking gig, Purple Hearts and Squire as support as I remember. Wall to wall scooters and parkas.

The Decemberists are my new favourite band. Thanks to Pickled Seal for the heads up for The King Is Dead....two amazing, instant albums (along What A Terrible World, What A Beautiful World).

If I'd had known this a few months ago, tonight I'd be on my way to London to see them live...hey ho next time!
