So looking forward to Nick Lowe's gig here Friday week (not quite as much as to the Wembley trip I have to admit).

I've seen him play with Rockpile and Ry Cooder but this will be the first time I've seen him solo.

A track off Clapton's new CD Old Sock.Pleasant enough but hardly a Blues album.
 
Thoroughly enjoying the new Depeche Mode album now, it didn't strike me as an immediate winner but grows on you like mould. The "Heaven' remix EP is rather splendid too. Will be seeing ver Mode in either Vegas or Palo Alto in the Autumn - should be rather marvelous.
