A track from Richard Thompson's new CD Electric.Wonderful as always.
Thompson is the very definition of overrated IMHO. I know people who think he's the greatest guitar player of all time - I don't think he's even the best guitar player to have been in Fairport!

I don't make any claims for him as a guitar player.He's OK-nothing more.His solo lyric writing (and singing) since leaving Fairport is exceptional however.

I like his first solo record, everything I've heard since then has been dreadful. Can't comment on his lyrics, his singing is so bad I don't get as far as taking in what he's singing about. He was better off when he let the missus do most of the singing...

Ah, I love Len, and although I'm not a huge Zim fan I think he's an awesome singer. RT is just... bad!
