Petula Clark on the Today programme on Radio 4 this morning - she's 80. What a career.

Meh. Suede had 1 good album, Bowie's been **** since 1982 and Hendrix plays darts doesn't he

Which one? 'Suede' is fantastic, so is 'Dog Man Star'. 'Coming Up' is also pretty good, although not quite in the league of the other two.

Plus 'Stay Together' was a truly outstanding standalone single.

And anything new from Bowie is to be welcomed, if only for it resulting in loads of his old songs being played on the radio ('Changes' came out 41 years ago yesterday - what a song).

Love Pet Clark, we had "Couldn't live without your love" on our wedding background music.

Suede. I don't remember DMS that well to be fair, perhaps it deserves a re-listen however the proceeding albums had the occasional good single they suffered from Brett Anderson's obsession with kinky sex, guns, heroin, suicide, celebrity.....zzzz

Well worth a revisit; I wasn't actually a huge fan when Dog Man Star first came out. Something of a grower but really top drawer.

In fact, you've unwittingly decided my music for this evening's drive home from work!
