If there is just one person looking at this thread who normally thinks of 'National Express' when they think of Divine Comedy then I have done my service to music this evening. Not that 'National Express' was a bad record, just that they have produced so many more songs of such breathtaking beauty.

indeed. I saw the Divine Comedy do a joint gig with Ben Folds, it was absolutely superb. I'm a big fan of 'Becoming more like Alfie', absolute tune!

Divine Comedy were superb. Saw them twice live, at V96 or 97 I think and Glastonbury 98, great both times but esp. at Glasto. At the time of the britpop era just as I was getting into music, I loved DC.

i only ever remember one divine comedy song and that was their cover of nelly furtados man eater at v a few years back , it was brilliant

Possibly my favourite Divine Comedy song, never seen the video before!

Incidentally, I haven't heard any of the Duckworth Lewis Method yet, anyone reccomend it?

Absolutely brilliant mate. Been listening to their album loads which is what set me off on this Divine Comedy journey this evening.
