Saw Jenny Belle Star playing an acoustic set with one of the Bay City Rollers and a couple of other musicians, including Laura Logic, at a festival in Bedford a couple of years ago. Nice little gig in front of an air-hanger where Glenn Miller set off from just before he died. JBS appreciated my enthusiasm! :)
 
Ooo-er, weird. Mogwai - 'Scotland's shame'.

After initially dismissing 'Hawk is howling' as more of that **** weak 'Mr. Beast' crap, I now regard it as my second favourite Mogwai record. It's bloody amazing.

Mental note made. I picked up Ten Rapid on saturday, bloody ace.
