Hey BB- what do you think of 'This Night Has Opened My Eyes' (from 'A Hatful of Hollow')?

Blueblood mentioned The Smiths' 'How Soon Is Now' yesterday- got me thinking about another track from that album, not one that immediately comes to mind, but a song of great pathos, eg there's a line in it...''a shoeless child on a swing, reminds you of your own again.'' In the context of the song being about an unwanted pregnancy and the mother dropping ''the baby on a doorstep,'' it has stayed with me down the years, down the days as a genuinely moving, albeit uncomfortable bit of music.

I can't say i've heard that track Shrimpero :'(

I used to buy all the singles that came out on vinyl but not the albums, and instead just bought the greatest hits CDs
