i know, it's absolutely amazing and still sends shivers down my spine

In between either **** Buttons & Mogwai or LSFav / Shellac the other week (can't remember which) the DJ played this tune. I nearly did a little dance, then realised it'd be impossible to attempt to anything by Slint. Didn't stop me giving it a go though...

Oh no. I love 'em! I just had 6 or so outstanding on my Itunes so I am working my way through them.

I've still got 12 Richard Herring & Andrew Collins Podcasts to conquer too before I'm up to date. I just wish you could go back into the BBC archives and download old A&J ones?

It wasn't a club actually, just the DJ who was putting tunes on between bands. I think it was the 'ATP Halloween Release the bats' gig in Camden?

That Mogwai gig was top. Maybe the best I've ever seen them, and it made me totally realise what the new record was about too, after initially not getting it at all.

In fact, I think I'll go put on the Government Sessions right now...

oh coolio, i wondered if you mean that cos that night with Shellac and LesSF looked amazing.

I went to the manc gig, which was excellent. I'm not the biggest fan of THIH, but live it's superb... especially Batcat (which got a play on TopGear which was cool). Damn straight about Government Sessions, I may listen to that later but I'm going through Spiderland a 2nd time!
