Why unusual?

I usually cram sausages, black pudding and warm sauerkraut in a tiger baguette.
Can't recall having chunky large fishfingers in one before.

Had an all day breakfast at the Estuary on the seafront at Westcliff, with a white coffee. An eye watering £22 .. but was decent.

Probably, but to be honest, I can’t remember when?. Same as having a crisp sandwich decades ago?.

The difference in prices between the Estuary and The Riverside cafe right next to it are also eye watering, the latter being much cheaper for similar quality.

My turn to work today, so I always treat myself to a Greggs on Sunday work days, had a bowl of cereal at home, then will get a sausage, beans and cheese bake for before I start with a coffee, and a jammy heart biscuit for "lunch"!

Are they? Must admit, we went there for my son's birthday brunch on Thursday, thought the breakfast prices were pretty good - plus I got to have pancakes! Last time we went to the other cafes down there, the prices were pretty similar.

Normal service is resumed ( phew! ).
