What are you having for lunch? (rolling thread)

Fish finger sandwich on wholemeal bread with a squirt of tomato sauce. It just doesn't get any better than that.

You clearly do have gills. :Winking:

Pre Christmas Morrison's were selling whole Salmon for £5-£6 per kilo instead of £12-£15, so i brought 4 for around £50 instead of around £125!.
Scaled them all, removed the pin bones & cut them all into portions, & put in the freezer. Est i had around 60 portions!. Usually eat it 3-4 times per week.
Normally when i go shopping there, they have various fish selling at 1/2 price, because they are 'use by' that day. That's when i get Smoked Cod, Haddock, Mackerel & Kippers & also freeze them.
And also have a supply of local Butchers award winning sausages & smoked bacon, which i'll have a couple of times weekly. Long gone are the days of a cheese or ham sarnie!.

Far too healthy for me Though we've up to at least two fish meals a week during the lockdown. When we used to go out to restaurants my wife would always have fish.Hopefully our favourite local place will be doing takeaways from next week.
