What are you having for lunch? (rolling thread)

Early one for me today. 4 grilled Old spot Gloucester sausages ( from the Butcher's next to the old Nelson pub ), in a Tiger baguette filled with English mustard & warm sauerkraut. Superb!.
Now off to town ( City! ) for pre match refreshments in The Last Post, before walking to Roots Hall.

We're going to try Sunday Lunch at The Lakes, Stambridge for the first time today. I'll report back later on what its like.
Arrive at 1pm ✔ Get decent table ✔ Quick service on menu and drinks ✔ Check for roast dinner choices X. Ask the waitress for roast dinner choices - answer 'We don't start serving roast dinner choices until the first week of October. Went for the fish goujons, chips and pea instead but the level of disappointment was on the high side. Finished off with a superb slice of coffee and walnut cake with pouring cream only to watch half of it vanish, scandalously thieved by Mrs RHB, who didn't want any dessert. Lack of roast up there with football being postponed yesterday. One of those weekends it seems.

I hope the pea was a satisfactory solitary vegetable choice?
