West End shows

Going to see Blood Brothers tonight, really looking forward to it. Saw it a few years ago and it was brilliant.

Also, last month I saw Les Miserables from the front row, thought it was amazing.

Anyone seen either of these, or other shows they have enjoyed?

Saw Les Mis years and years ago as a pressie for a girl I was with at the time. Can't remember that much about it seems another lifetime ago!

Saw Avenue Q last year, very good! Seeing Priscilla QOTD on Saturday....

I went to see Romeo and Juliet at The Globe theatre and it was very good.

They didn't even object when I took two pints back to my seat at half time.

I can recommend the Swan at the Globe pub as a good place to eat before shows.

Seen Blood Brothers a couple of times (Mrs BB is into double figures I believe !)

We Will Rock You is excellent. Took Mrs BB to see Dirty Dancing last year, she says it not a patch on the film.

Work gave me Theatre Vouchers for a wedding present, still haven't decided what to see. Wicked is one possibility, I've heard good things about it. Shame Spamalot has finished, I would like to go the see something at the Globe though.

Seen Blood Brothers and Les Mis several times and loved them.

Avenue Q is also very good, as is Wicked, Phantom of the Opera. Heard a few dodgy reviews about Priscilla QOTD,

Oh cheers Gilbo :(

Still, going for dinner at a posh curry house in Mayfair :)

Saw 'War Horse' a couple of months back; excellent.

Having said that, it was my first visit to the theatre since GCSE English Lit so I'm no Benedict Nightingale when it comes to theatre reviews.

That is meant to be good yeah. Whilst that was in production I went to go and see Pitmen Painters at the National, which was also very good.

And I also thought, We Will Rock you was very very good.

It's only some silly critics opinion on the show. You will probably find that you will enjoy it.

I remember seeing Madam de Sade starring Judi Dench and Rosamund Pike. It got slated by the critics, and I thought it was most excellent.

Of course, critics do get it right sometimes. Most recently Waiting for Godot. But when you have on of the best plays from the 20th century starring Gandalf and Jean-Luc Pickard it isn't gonna be bad is it?!

Seen a few, We Will Rock You, Mamma Mia are both good lighthearted. Also seen Fame and another quite deep one that I can't quite remember.

I saw Wicked, didn't think it was all that although the Mrs liked it, which is probably what counts

Reminds me: I went to see "Art" with three people in it I can't remember. The critics raved about it but the theatre was empty and it was so boring I fell asleep.

Seen Blood Brothers and loved it! Seen Hairspray, Joeseph and Oliver as well but out of them it is probably between Hairspray and Blood Brothers for the best 1s!

Mamma Mia - Very enjoyable unlike the ***** film

Lion King - Amazing

Les Mis - Bag of **** but it was for the wife.

Scrooge - Far to Long

Billy Elliot - Thoroughly Enjoyable and the Ballet Scene was very impressive
