We're the South - West - East Stand

Well done to the south upper for getting this going on saturday. It was starting to pick up momentum until The Trannies scored and it died. If the top tier as a whole can sing it perhaps the east would here it and join in.

Up the BLUES

East did try to sing it back but we all sounded like we'd had too much Fosters at Half Time to be honest. We seriously sounded all drunk. :hilarious: :hilarious:

errrm....yeah. :D Idiot of a mate ordered a jug before the game for half time. Between two of us ? In 15 minutes ?
What was the score by the way ? (hic)

We're the North Bank , we're the North Bank , we're the North Bank of Roots Hall............................

Hmmm - we did - to be precise we are the West side of the North Bank - the North bank of Roots Hall...

....temporarily displaced in the SSU

East did sing it quite loud in east blacks.

For most of the time the east were singing it every other time as the west stand didnt seem to get going until later.

The west didn't catch on for a little while, although that may be due to the fact that the 'singing' sections in the west are in the northern part of the stand - which, given the crap acoustics at the Hall - is hard to hear from all the way up in the South...

the West Stand was very quiet all game Saturday, i don't remember anyone from our side joining in the song

Indeed. It was quieter than usual in the West where I was. Maybe the singers had split loyalties with the rugby.

Hopefully Block V will be back in full voice on Saturday although the England footie at 3 is not going to help.

Usually it is a good atmosphere, Southampton was good seeing as how it was our 1st win in 18 games!

Just for some reason it didn't get going Saturday.

The family enclosure had a go. I was surprised to read that the East joined in - I didn't hear them at all from the West.

I heard a couple of strained chants from the east but as we all know the acoustics at the Hall are dreadful.

I sit in the East.

I didn't join in with the chant. Why? Because i was pi**ed for most of the match and probably eating some kind of burger from the food bar.
