Wembley tickets

The club can't say can they - the club can't say please just buy the £80 coach and match day ticket package and not turn up for the coaches!.

My question - if I buy a coach and match day ticket package and later in the week then necessity for coaches disappears for some reason - can I cancel the coach and get a refund?
I would guess, no. Just get a non coach ticket. If you are in the Southend area the coach option might work for you, if not it won’t.

Perhaps next season's season ticket holders could wear some sort of identifying symbol on their clothes when attending games. Then, all the non-season ticket holders can publicly abuse them as selfish bastards in advance of this sort of situation arising again in the future.
I've dug out my a few of my old gifts that the club used to give to season ticket holders.

Might even grab my 3 free tickets that season holders get and give them away to day trippers.

Anyone ever thought that the 4 tickets per season ticket holder is a Wembley/NL thing as Oldham are doing the same?

Maybe the club didn’t have a choice, and what if you a a season ticket holder and want to bring 5 people? Whatever the rights and wrongs, there is always someone that feels aggrieved, and this is all the fault of the NL. Not the clubs, not season ticket holders or exiles, or auntie Maud who hasn’t been to a Southend game in her life.

It’s all on the NL.

Luckily, as an exile that has only been to two away games this season, but was a season ticket holder for over 30 years before moving, I have managed to source two tickets from a lovely person on Facebook. Was I lucky, yes, would I have been totally and utterly the most ****ed off person I have ever been if I couldn’t have got the tickets, yes of course. So I can understand why feelings are running high, but please let’s direct all this anger and emotion at the people responsible and not each other.

Online ticket queue wait time is going up.
General sale people I would start joining it now. Even if it gets you in too early, just quickly join the queue again, then you will be one of the first in at 1pm.
I would join after 12. This is the time that season ticket holders have to purchase.

After this time access to the ticketing site will be then closed and you will (should) be put into the virtual queue for when the doors open at 1pm.

I'm on this thread for ticket news. Looks like I probably won't get a ticket, but that doesn't mean I'm going to start insulting season ticket holders. Nor can I see why those who do have tickets should start insulting those who haven't. Why does our society have to be so polarised? It's tedious.
Join the queue at 12 or just before and you’ve got a good chance of a ticket I’d say. Best of luck 🤞🏻

Little update from the club about availability

Not going to go in and grab a latest picture of ticket availability as don't want to join a queue just for the latest colour map when that access is required by those trying to obtain tickets on general sale.

This is my reading of the information we have so far. The NL have only paid to use part of the stadium not the middle / upper tiers …the tfl works are just a smoke screen
It's clearly this. It costs so much to hire Wembley. The FA do not subsidise this event. The National League was never going to pay out for the whole venue in the off chance a 'big team/teams' makes it to the final. These things have to be paid out for months in advance.

Look at the last 8 finals, on average there has been twenty-odd thousand there. They were never going to pay out that huge outlay with that in mind. It was so nearly FGR's in the final let's not forget. There are so many sides that can't bring the number that Southend and Oldham can, the NL were never going to take that gamble. It's a lot of money to throw away, frustrating or not.

The travel is a huge, convenient smoke screen.

Another really good question but it's like no one really knows the answers........
I'm reluctant to pay the extra coach fees plus getting from West London where my hotel is which must be £20+ and then traveling all the way back to London Wembley........crazy !

If you get in early you won't have to buy the coach ticket tickets. With the new block open there must be nearly 6,500 other seats now available.

Strange they are filling the blocks behind the TV cameras and not the blocks on the other side.
