Wembley tickets

Words fail me… the National League being Tin Pot as expected.

Given the sides that were involved in the play-offs, coupled with ‘PLANNED’ engineering works… why on earth didn’t they look to secure a different neutral ground such as Tottenham or Arsenal…

Yes if you ended up with a York v Forest Green final they probably wouldn’t sell many… but they’ve taken the gamble and now the National League has a chance to showcase itself by having its largest crowed for a play off final and screwed itself and its member clubs over.
Spurs ground is ****ter to get to than Wembley with the tube lines shut.

Myself and other exiles that have take the punt and made the journey are sitting pretty nervously with you all. This is so disheartening and not feeling we were hoping for leading in to this. Anxiety and big expense over celebration and community. Good luck to all - hope we get clarity and tickets.
Same position. Good luck 🤞

It's unbelievable and never achievable. I just don't understand it.
I think the argument would be that Oldham coaches cost £55 per person. The train costs £140+ per person.

Oldham's general sale goes live on Monday. Most of their fans will opt to drive/coach. More coaches from them should open up more non-coaches on our end (If transferring non-coach capacity from one club to the other is allowed).

I’ve been on such a high for the last week but this has brought me crashing back to earth.

On the journey back from Forest Green I had 14 requests for tickets from family. This was going to be our biggest family get together since Covid. Three generations all getting together and watching the game together after what has been a tough year. That was why Wembley was going to be so special. This is why so many of us fought to keep the club going because of its ability to do this.

Now I’m going to get a ticket as I’m a season ticket holder, I’ll get one for my dad who booked flights right after the game and two other family members but it’s not going to be my whole family. I may even be able to source some extra tickets when they go on general sale but even if I can we won’t be able to sit together and share the experience as a family.

The National League and the Met Police have robbed me of this moment and they’ve robbed countless other fans of their moments be it with family, friends, schoolmates, teammates or colleagues.

They’ve ruined it for us.

As it stands 18900 is current allocation with the current number of coaches.
As I suggested earlier the way round the capacity issue was indeed coach packages, pricey and not ideal but could see us break the 20k mark (coaches allowing)

Yeah this is the problem now. Even if they cave and increase the allocation it needed to be done before the tickets go on sale. Coz people are always going to rush to buy for a match of this magnitude anyway but even more so now. So any late movement on this will already have a negative impact on the experience for whoever has bought tickets already.

Absolute farce and I’m so angry about it.

The difficulty with this even if a load of pressure is exerted at the highest level is that someone somewhere has signed this capacity off as the maximum on “safety” grounds and they’ll have to backtrack on that. Difficult to suddenly say it’s ok to have 50,000 fans using the same trains that yesterday you said were only safe to carry 40,000. Some creative thinking needed to safe face…
If only someone had buses so that they could run a replacement bus service to Wembley Park…does TFL know anyone who has any buses…the whole mess was foreseeable and as always a bunch of people promoted beyond their competence failed to plan for it…

looks likely Southend may have to have the match on the big screen at Roots Hall if all cannot get a ticket' Should make management even more determined to get out off this tin pot league run by buffoons.
