Exactly this, talk about corporate greed seems like Wembley don’t like making money!Surely that's some serious ammunition to go to this apparent saftey group to get the allocation sorted and look for workarounds. How do you sell out a wembley final in 24 hours.....!!
Indeed, that needs echoing a hundredfold. I was, at times, in utter desperation yesterday with log in problems and was helped by those on here who were willing to give up their time to offer me help, support and encouragement. That continued today with assistance on when and how to get in the queue and updates and suggestions on availability and selection. Without all this help, I doubt that I would have succeeded. Shrimper Zone is far more than a club message board...........it's a community. Thanks to everyone who has posted help on here. We have managed to get tickets now, but not sure we would have succeeded otherwise. Very best luck for anyone still waiting. This is my 3rd play off final and we won the last 2.....
Thank you for the reply. Completely understood.Personally I wouldn't let them know, for now, as
(A) They may just cancel your order
(B) They may need to reduce the allocation elsewhere.
I'd wait until you actually have the ticket in your possession (Thursday) and see if there is any update from club. They should be anticipating this scenario so they may give some instruction on what to do in this situation - although equally they may not be able to say anything as they won't want to encourage those with coach tickets to travel by other means instead given the conditions put on the club to allow increased ticket allocation
Missed out after 2 hours +Looks like its going to be a TV game
I get you're trying to the right thing - no one wants to see unused coaches waiting around at RH for fans that aren't gonna turn up. But in this instance doing the 'right thing' might not be the best thing for youThank you for the reply. Completely understood.
Alternatively maybe you could sell the coach part of the ticket or donate it to someone?Thank you for the reply. Completely understood.
Did you sort yourself out a non coach ticket?I get you're trying to the right thing - no one wants to see unused coaches waiting around at RH for fans that aren't gonna turn up. But in this instance doing the 'right thing' might not be the best thing for you
Go again tomorrow mate, more tickets coming upLooks like its going to be a TV game
Yes, got lucky with non coach tickets. Will continue being vocal though on the insanity of forcing people to overpay for a coach they don't want!Did you sort yourself out a non coach ticket?
Still not enough though!Echo: SOUTHEND United have now been given 21,500 tickets for their play-off final against Oldham Athletic at Wembley.
Scheduled engineering works on the trainline initially saw Blues given just 17,500 seats for next Sunday's game.
But that has now increased.
A club statement confirmed: "We have now received confirmation from Wembley Stadium that the enhancements to the rail services into Wembley Central and Wembley Stadium will enable the capacity for our promotion final to be increased to 48,000.
"That will increase our allocation to 21,500 plus tickets sold with coach packages.
"Please note these additional numbers need to be released in two tranches (due to some coding requirements that Wembley need to undertake).
"The first tranche has been released already, the second tranche will be release tomorrow - we will give some notice in relation to that.
At the time of writing this statement we have about 5,000 tickets to sell (over two tranches), yet we have 600 supporters queuing in the car park and 8,000 queuing online."
And Blues will therefore keep pushing for more tickets.
The statement added: "We are confident we could sell in excess of 35,000, so whilst we are pleased with the progress that has been made, we are still pushing all stakeholders to think creatively and to find solutions that can safely increase the capacity further.
Try again tomorrow, but log in early.Looks like its going to be a TV game
managed to get my 1 ticket but had to buy the coach ticket. I couldn’t care less that I’ve paid the extra but have no intention of getting the coach as I live in Bedford. Do I let the club know?
Dont stop the pressure on the NL. Even if you have a ticket. Its our final
