Wembley tickets

We've sold 25k. I thought we had 21.5k non coach tickets. So around 3.5k coach tickets - if a coach seats 50 people. That's 'only' around 70 coaches. Club has sourced over 150 coaches - does that mean there's still around 3.5k coach tickets to sell or did we not get 21.5k non coach tickets?
It means theres a **** load of coach package tickets that will go unsold.

It's now obvious that lots of families and friend groups have had to split because of the ticket fiasco. Mine included.
What Wembley could easily do is open up another couple of blocks for each club without selling the tickets. Groups could head into these newly opened blocks and it would create thousands of spaces in other blocks.
People now sitting on their own could then join. Otherwise there will be plenty of 'incidents' of having to shove someone out of your seat at 14:50 on Sunday.

The cost would be minimal and save the stewards a lot of grief. In fact people are more likely to spend in Kiosks if you can get in and out easily.

Not that I will be spending anything in that stadium. Forget chants its money which will send a bigger message. I urge all you Shrimpers to join me in the stadium spend boycott.

Looks like the pubs around Marleybone will be getting my dosh on Sunday

Agree with all of this.

Without all of the delays, restrictions and obstacles deliberately put in the way of the Club and supporters, the whole buying process would have been very easy. With our full amount of 35,000
everyone who wanted a ticket, it would have been available. Plus everyone would have been able to sit together as they required.
Due to the "Experts" at the top of the tree, it turned out to be an unnecessary and very stressful experience.

I think you are assuming coach means a coach with 50 seats- I think the term “coach” covers a wide selection of coach sizes between minibus and 70 seaters…

Does that mean only 1,100 of the additional 3,500 ticket and coaches packages made available have been sold? That’s a bit of a shame given how much effort would have been put in by TL/the club to secure all those coaches at short notice.
Agreed. I guess in the end they have ensured that everyone who really really wanted to go could- not withstanding the disincentive of cost (although that, it seems, isn’t mad verses public transport, but is against a full shared car) and probabl, more challenging, geographic location of many fans. All be it many will pay for the coach and not use it to get around that.

Presumably those attending by coach combined tickets are indeed receiving their match tickets independently??

I think we would have been close to 30,000 I know quite a few that gave up getting tickets after a few days, 35,000 I'm not so sure.
I think 35,000 was estimated by the club when general sale was halted when 8000 we in the online queue and 600 in the car park. And each of those people wouldn’t be buying just one ticket. I think 35k was quite a conservative estimate at that point in time…
