Wembley tickets

Great going from Southend on tickets. I think we will fill our 17500 and that'll be it for us. Maybe hit 20k.

The cost, the transport (no direct Manchester to London trains) wont help. Your floating "2 club" fans are probably mainly West Ham fans. Ours are Man City & Man United. City have been to Wembley 6 times in the last 13 months. So it isnt special for them.

Our sales have stopped, but open sale starts tomorrow.
There’s a hope the total capacity will be raised next Tuesday to 60,000- if we can nab 5,000 of your unused allocation that will get us up towards the 35,000 we think we need.
What a mess…

Hopefully push for more tickets before end of week shambles what both clubs been given

My partner is a Wimbledon fan and I will go with her tomorrow to the L2 Play Off Final and we have tickets. All this has deflated any interest I had in going but I will do so just because I'll be in the dog house if I don't. Banter is for the 90 mins of a match and it's part of the game that we will take the p#ss out of each other during the games... It's been like this forever..... But the clever fans also know what goes on with other Clubs, they share an Interest in the Bigger Picture. My team is safely in L2 but it doesn't mean I stop caring about the rest of the structure. I'm angry beyond words and I'm trying to raise myself to be interested for the L2 Play Off Final.... We ALL need to stand together to NOT take this sh#t from Wembley or Brent Council or any Safety Advisory Committee and we WON'T because together we are stronger

There are definitely direct trains. Didn't take a minute to look them up.

Logged in early as suggested and told 4hrs wait. What a complete shower of ****.
People talking about day trippers who get tickets COULD be our future support but so annoyed that think they might've just lost one.
Too many tickes allocated per person, get the ST benefits but to put 4 out to general public is ridiculous and that falls at the clubs feet as knew only limited tickets left and likely people still miss out.
Very poor.
Getting fed up with this, I have 2 season tickets and have bought all 8 tickets, two are obviously the ticket holders, 3 are my family that aren’t season ticket holders but go to games, 1 is my daughter a total glory hunter and the others went to friends that attend matches occasionally, I don’t see why I should have to justify who I take. There will be more tickets made available later in the week, people just need to be patient. Don’t turn on other fans that have taken what they have been given.

Haven't seen this statement posted about yet. Seems very positive about capacity being increased.

"We have worked throughout the weekend to lobby stakeholders with a view to trying to find a solution to lift the capacity restrictions currently in place for our Promotion Final taking place on Sunday, June 1 at Wembley Stadium.

Senior Ministers (and other politicians) have been supportive and, as a result, we are informed that – whilst Wembley Park station will remain closed – additional services will run into Wembley Central and also into Wembley Stadium. We believe that these additional services may result in the capacity being lifted from 17,500 per club (plus additional tickets sold with a coach pass). We are waiting to hear from the relevant parties in respect of that.

The current allocation of tickets does not come close to reflecting the scale of demand from our supporters, and as things stand we will almost certainly sell out our allocation (of tickets without a coach package) today – resulting in disappointment for tens of thousands of supporters, many of whom have followed the club through thick and thin.

We are focused on trying to lift the capacity for the final, and as soon as we receive feedback from the key decision makers on that, we will release another statement – we hope that will be later today. Until then, we thank our supporters for your patience."

Very valid points on the 2 club fans but if this reduced capacity means West Ham fans miss out then maybe it’s not so bad after all.

Mods - can we possibly start another thread with a poll to gauge just how more tickets we think we will need?

We do need to keep pushing but realisticly need to know at what point we don't need to push anymore.

COSU are saying we can reach 35k+ so it would be interesting to see just how many are waiting.
Problem with such a poll is it will be under representative (if your intention is to demonstrate the dire need for significantly higher ticket numbers). The Zone has impressive numbers, but represents a small section of our overall potential for Wembley tickets.
