Wembley tickets

Telling that TfL were given a steer that the attendance would be low (circa 40k max)... Wonder where that guidance came from? The National League are such an amateur organisation, happy to just accept and embrace mediocrity. No apologies, no contrition, no accountability. I don't think I've ever wanted us to win a game so badly just so we can get out of this tinpot league.

I'm not picking on STH, of which I'm one. Just saying it would have been nice if regular purchasers of tickets and actual attenders of games found themselves further up the queue.
you did though:

That's why I was disappointed that the club prioritised 3rd and 4th tickets for season ticket holders over other supporters with a purchase history.

"- TfL chose this date for the works due to the forecasted attendance being low (they cite an average attendance of less than 40,000)."

So there we have it. Who forecast the attendance? The National League of course. I reckon Oldham and York (both in the play offs for much of the season) could have exceeded 40,000.....
Suspect NL thought that Gateshead were a cert for the play offs in February. Plus Halifax or FGR , hence 40k. However no contingency , what w@nkers…….

Please can someone confirm that it is OK for coach/ticket purchasers to skip the coach element and for me to make my own way to Wembley.
I got my match ticket today and there is no mention on it of any compulsion to use a coach to travel to Wembley.

Not sure why some are still whinging about 4 tickets for seasos. Everyone I know who bought extra made sure they went to genuine fans.
Limiting it 2 only and having the lottery of on line booking would make it no fairer than seasos distributing them as they see fit.

Anyway anyone who really wants to go should have a ticket by now. If not there are still some floating about. Time for us to stop bitching over a situation that we had no control over.

Let’s now focus on the game . Don’t know about any of you but because of the last few weeks this game is now far more important and meaningful than I expected.

Personally I can’t wait till Sunday. Let’s all make it the best final in our history so far……After all We deserve it.

In the end Oldham had enough tickets, we would undoubtedly have sold more if they were not tied to coach packages, but I think all true fans have a ticket now.
Not quite all of us, unfortunately. Some of us haven’t been in a condition to get to games recently.

Ironically I could technically get to the game on Sunday (which is great news and the first match I ‘could’ have attended since early March) but it isn’t advisable so I’ll be on DAZN.

Same here, unfortunate incident with a ladder and a garden wall so it's DAZN and a seat on the sofa with the cat.

Glad you’re on the mend mate 😊👍🏻

It was four cardiac arrests and a month in (the bloody excellent) Papworth Hospital for me. Finally getting out tomorrow fingers crossed.
Surely Papworth would be the safest place for you to be on Sunday???

Glad to hear you’re over the worst. Save it for next year. We don’t do single promotions!!! Especially as Tilly achieved it as a player and manager and now we have King Kev’s turn.
