Not one of Maher's better games. Mind you, it wasn't one of our support's better performances either. Completely outsung by Sunderland, and we didn't make nearly as much nice as much smaller followings at Barnsley, Birmingham, Luton etc. Maybe there's something in that, if we get behind the team and encourage them then we play better.

Here's hoping that will be the case at Hillsborough on Sat.

Thought we were very subdued at the SofL, although that in part is probably due to everybody's early start plus finding ourselves 0-2 down after 10 or so minutes.

south west corner thats where i sit, whole stadium used to be bouncing like that, when we finished 7th in the prem, slowly but surely the atmosphere is coming back along with the big crowds . i was very impressed with how many fans you brought up and they did make quite alot of noise considering the score

sadly the stuffing was knocked out of us after the first 15 minutes. we would have been a lot better if we had more of a chance but even so 4 nil and still singing can't be bad!

Have to say I thought it very strange how many of the sunderland fans left the stadium with the team 4 nil up.Dont recall seeing that at a match before.

Was told when I stopped off at services that Gower had been in a casnio till 2:30 in the morning
