Weirdest Day Ever

I had a weird day once. I knew it was going to be one of these days. I was walking along Calle Major when the tigers broke free and everyone had to run like hell to avoid the gnashers; I felt like dropping into interstellar overdrive to get away. I definitely wasn't fearless and was truly lost for words. Still, I managed to see Emily play a few hours later; I have high hopes for her progress as a scarecrow. The paint shop beckoned; I wandered in and asked for some advice; the proprietor told me to pick any colour I like so I got out my paintbox. But before I could select it, I had one of my turns (although I felt comfortably numb) and my vision was obscured by the clouds. "What do you want from me? I asked, to which the face in the clouds replied: "Your possible pasts." I had no idea. Images went round and around; it was like yet another movie. The door opened. It was Arnold Layne. "Not now, John," he said and then wandered back out again. He's one of the few. I remember one day there was a big gig in the sky and someone was trying to get at his dinner. "Get your filthy hands off my desert," he screamed with paranoid eyes before reaching into his gold lame bag and pulling out some money.

A weird day indeed ...
