Find out when we arrive, audition lasts an hour is all we know and our North of the border friend has been given the following questions to consider:

If you could ask any Egghead a question what would it be?
If you could have a dinner date with any person who would it be and why?
If you were a pigeon and could **** on anybody who would that be?

So I guess we've been pondering those too!

Well, should have come to the Sunday night quiz when the idea was first mooted!

To be honest on paper(or the computer screen at least)that looks like a strong squad,but im worried about the one weak link and never having seen the programme im hoping the team is 5 strong with a sub and that sub being hutton.

Well I guess it depends on who the production team want, so at the moment even I've sorted it all out and filled out tons of paperwork, I could be pushed aside!

Regardless who gets bumped I think we all agree that if we DID win any moolah we'd split it six ways.

ah i see so hutton is the eye candy,just seem to recall that huttons mum got most of the quiz questions right.
I know its boring but could you give us a idea of how the programme runs/works as ive only ever flick through it.

Yep: 5 eggheads. 4 rounds of 1-1 battle between one contestant & chosen egghead on a certain topic (music/history etc). Best of 3 like a penalty shoot out.

Whoever gets knocked out then doesn't take part in the final general knowledge round.

I've seen one team win £60K so here's hoping!

Think I'll be sticking to The Simpsons. At least I know for certain I'll get half an hour's entertainment. Then again, that posh Egghead woman who won a million quid, she does look flithy, just has that look about her of having it all going on under that stuffy exterior. If one of you make a pass at her I might just flick over (in more ways than one if she goes for it).

Ok Shrimperzoners Egghead team update: We had to do a mini version of the game with another team who we easily dispatched 4-1 (yours truly being the only one to get a question wrong!), and a quick introduction of who we are, why we formed the team, etc. Then one question each on a close up video.

Matter of waiting now too see if the producers want our ugly mugs on the box or not, so if we get the nod I shall let you all know.

Don't know if Paul's going to do a little report or not, but we did ok, I think - we certainly won our audition "heat", and I think we showed a bit of "character" in our banter!

It's just a case now of waiting to see, the whole thing was filmed and goes to the Producers to decide on who gets called back.

We had a good laugh, and a nice lunch beforehand anyway!
