for anyone thinking of going apparently there is a 1pm pitch inspection - heard they have only managed to play twice at home since start of November!

gutted about this being off I had the blue smoke bomb ready and had put cards under all the seats that when held up created a picture of stan collymore

It is now Wednesday 23rd January, unless it rains between now and then.

Pitch inspection tomorrow at 1pm. Sounds a bit of a formality !

"It will take an Army to clear the snow. The car park is also covered and the driveway into the ground is very dangerous. I'm told we will still have to have a pitch inspection crazily enough"

Waltham Abbey are holding a 1pm pitch inspection today.Be good if they can get the game on,give a few of our fringe players a run out. With rain we have had and previous problems with their pitch must be doubtful.

been called off a few times already, should have just had at at Roots Hall tonite instead
That would be better really.I watched Waltham Abbey play at Maldon couple weeks ago and got talking too a fella whos son plays for Abbey,he said it should have been switched and that it gets waterlogged very easily.Eton Manor also play there so that dont help matters.

Think they have only managed 1 home game since 10 November as pitch so bad!

Yes i think thats right. They are goin have a massive fixture backlog! Players of Abbey would much rather play at Roots Hall.
