Nice to see we've decided that as we beat Iran all we have to do is turn up and strut about.

Move the ball quicker and get forward with pace!

Absolute toilet atm. They all like they have been down the pub on the **** for 4 days.

Half Time

England 0 United States of America 0

So Southgate's tactics to play negative, boring, football appears to have gone to plan, and lulled the USA into a false cense of security.

Now just smash these Yanks in the second half.

As expected this has been far less free flowing than Iran, we're struggling to break them down and America don't look too bad on the break, changes needed soon if things don't improve.

Well that was boring to watch, so negative, hate all the passing across the back 4 and back to the goalie.

Why doesn't someone look up and pass to a forward even if 50% do not come off, at least it is positive.

Two games played and 4 points. Not pretty, not ideal, but baring disaster against the Welsh on goals against, then we qualify for the next stage. You have to give the USA their due, they were physical and very athletic and no mugs. Not world beaters, but still difficult to beat. I remember our reaction when we drew with the Jocks in the Euros, the world was ending, but that campaign didn't work out too badly in the end.

England have this annoying habit of starting sloooowly and then getting better as the tournaments go on. This time around we battered the Iranians and it may have been better if we had drawn that one and mullared the Yanks. Either way, onwards to the Welsh next.
