As I said earlier, our forward line isn't good enough. We've lost Tomlin and Britt and replaced with Reid and Cowan who are nowhere near as good. Defence and midfield I'm happy with, up front needs sorting before windows closes.

Must say that despite how well we have played tonight and that is a bonus, there are many league two sides doing a lot better. I said despite our win Saturday, our forward line isn't good enough and won't score enough goals.

He was poor.

Then again, never a lone striker. Not sure he won a header all night, his jumping wasn't gonna do anything against Webster.

Looked a little podgy but seemed to have some good awareness. Could tell he was new. Got under his team-mates feet at times.

Too early to say.

Was happy with Bentley and the back 4 tonight as they looked solid. We tried to play football at times but it was too slow and lacked intensity and punch which was mentioned earlir! Was not impressed with Cowan or Reid TBH but Reid didnt really get much to be fair.

Stracker was terrible tonight he gets in good postions but doesnt seem to know what to do with it and has no final ball! I thought Jack Payne has a decent game and looked lively. Atkinson was abit disappointing he can run with the ball thats for sure but ran out of ideas when closed down or sent down the line.

Shame to go out the cup with a whimper but when you rest players then you cant expect miracles, will be worried if Corr gets injured thats for sure looking at the back up!

So you wasn't pleased with how we performed tonight, against a Championship side? Was you even there tonight?

how did reid do

He was better tonight and put lots of work in and needed a partner up front from the start.
We didn't play badly tonight and there were many positives with the changed team; no-one looked out of place and it did show that there is alternatives/competition for starting places if any player doesn't put a shift in.
The forward line isn't right and I bet Fred was squirming on the bench at not being able to have a go at the good position free kicks we got 2nd half.
Some of the obvious areas to be worked on are Straker's crossing so that his good work has an end product;
the long throw stuff hasn't worked (ever?) and needs either binning or lots of work;
Prosser's soft lofted left foot knock forwards are just giving possession away (every time?) and he needs to learn to give it some pace or pass it simple.
If we keep passing and moving etc we WILL win and I am starting to have some faith in the team building work that PB is trying to do.
