What was even the point in giving the fans a vote?!!

Still though, the little diving git did not win so I'm happy!

They give the fans a vote, then they take the top 3 players from that vote, pick 3 of their own, then randomly pick one of those 6 it seems.

So a player with no votes could potentially win.

Personally I'd have given it to Podolski anyway but this is ridiculous.

Still, FIFA did redeem themselves when explaining why they couldn't choose Ronaldo and the point was made!!
