In the Echo tonight on page 52 in top left hand corner it states the club may not continue with the Bluebelles for this current season.
I cannot belive no one else has spotted this!!!!!!!!!!

How do you feel about this?

Am in a state of shock, I would rather lose Eastwood

This is the worst time to bring this news out as am sure this will hit the players and fans alike very hard indeed!

So please GK reconsider as i have had many dreams about these girls

Maybe they cost the club far too much. After all I think I'm right in thinking that the entertainment is provided by The Lights people rather than by the club? I'd rather SUFC find the necessary cash to build a strong squad to retain a place in the Football League Championship than spend it on cheerleaders, wouldn't you?!

I can't believe the club would wait until after they've charged people for season tickets before they announce this. Disgraceful.

I think the Echo are just reading into it too much. Geoff King said they'd be reviewing the pre-match and half-time entertainment. Surely they wouldn't remove the most popular entertainment we have?

Ha! Ha! No, we had a good time spreading the 'Way of the Shrimper' - we even got a shout of the local radio station; they bade a fond farewell to Barry live on air after a great evening of entertainment watching England v Sweden - I kid ye not!! His influence and reputation has no boundaries!!

Someone will correct me if i'm wrong here but arn't the Bluebells employed by the same company that supplies the cheerleeders for West Spam and another London club, the name of which I can't remember now but if that's true then I would assume they aint that cheap to hire (so to speak)

The website www.the-lights.com (which has been advertised in Blues Monthly on the pages featuring selected members of The Bluebelles in various states of undress) is no longer working as the featured website of, among others, The Bluebelles. I wonder if this is connected to the Echo statement?
