After watching some programme on the telly yesterday as I was feeling 'Ill' and didn't go into work, some programme was literally based 100% talking about UFO's. Some nutters were saying they have even seen one?! IMO I think it is the biggest load of bollox ever but what do you think?! Have you 'seen' a UFO!!?

Edit: I think the programme was 'This Morning' I don't know, hardly ever watch day time television!

I am 100% certain that we are not alone in this Universe, BUT I think that the nearest life is so far away to make any kind of travel impossible.

However, The Lizard People are here, so I'm watching my words.... :)

I'm 99% certain I've seen one.
I was 8 or 9 at the time but my Mum & her friend were in the car too & they both still maintain it was a UFO (this was around the time of the famous Rendlesham USAF sightings in Suffolk).........

A spinning disk about 500ft up with different coloured lights.
It hovvered for about 2 minutes, then shot off upwards at a speed I'd never seen a plane or helicopter move at.

Are you sure that you weren't just inhaling some of the exhaust fumes that were leaking into the car?

 ;)

I have never seen something I thought was a UFO, but driving through middle-of-nowhere Nevada whilst sleep deprived I saw some pretty weird things.

Area 51 with no fly zone, many strange goings on, and reported sightings with substantiated film evidence of hovering wingless craft. .

The stealth plane, flies but has no wings as such. Where did that technology come from?

Major advncement in technology since the 50's,to coincide with the Roswell incident.

Anybody who denies the existence of alien life is foolish.

Hell, there are creatures at the bottom of the deepest oceans being discovered now that we didn't know even existed, and they are on our own planet!!

Thinking about it objectively I cannot for the life of me believe that out of all the trillions of planets in the universe that we are the only one capable of sustaining an intelligent life form (although any alien reading some of the posts on here would, I dare say, argue that point).
With that in mind and the possibility that they could be far more technologically advanced than ourselves and found some way to travel the vast distances involved and visited our solar system it certainly isn't something that should be dismissed out of hand.
In my opinion, to do that, is very blinkered view and one that certainly cannot be reasoned with.

At the end of the day I'm undecided. Until I see it with my own eyes I shall stay sat firmly on the fence.

:hilarious::hilarious:

Sorry, no offence intended I just find these stories funny!!

:p:rolleyes:

a) I was 9
b) I had 2 adults (of reasonably sound mind, if you knew my Mum, you'd know what I mean) telling me they thought it was a UFO
c) surely the vastness of the universe must support some other forms of life somewhere or other (we can't really be alone!)

That is pretty much how I feel. Although I do think that if aliens came to earth, it would be known since they would try to make contact with us, rather than just observing us from above. And for the conspiracy theorists on here, I don't think that governments would be able to cover it up, because why would aliens only contact world leaders, they wouldn't know who the leaders are!

While we're on the subject, does anyone remember the movie 'Fire in the Sky', about that guy that got abducted in the desert?

If there were other lifeforms, why would they want to communicate with us? Our world's constantly at war, we're destroying our environment, our entertainment is reality TV, and we make idols of drug addicts. Personally, I'd stay well clear!

I know what I'd do if I was visiting earth....
