Unfortunately friday nights aren't wall to wall goths. Full of people who have got lost from tots of bas vegas.
 
Ok been thinking of a classic 1992 Toothbrush night an my mind has just gone blank (I blame Breakers and other 'stuffs'). The stand out tunes as I remember them though are:-

1) Primal Scream - Movin on up
2) Jesus & Mary Chain - Reverence
3) Cud - Purple love ballon
4) Janes Addiction - Been caught stealin.
5) Pixies - Debaser
6) PWEI - Bulletproof
7) Senseless Things - Easy to Smile
8) Neds Atomic Television - Kill your television
9) Inspiral Carpets - Bitches brew
10) Carter USM - Sherrif Fatman

I know that many of these have already been mentioned but they are classics. I'm sure there are many that I've forgotten but there was an incredible amount of good pink champagne doing the rounds in '92.

Does anyone remember thr psychobillys. They used to scare me silly!

The DJ always played 3 or 4 or their songs in a row and they'd invade the dancefloor and do a funny dance in a circle. It looked like they where beating the crap out of one another, they'd be stood still but seemed to be punching one another. Not good!

The only song of theirs I remember had something about a 'buzzy bee' in the lyrics and no its not Elvis.

Of course, way back in the day i can remember a massive line-up of top London dj's spinning tunes every Friday, even Radio London were in on the act as the 'Brush packed 'em in as a top venue with the evervescent (sp?)
Tony Blackburn the frontman.
That led us nicely into the rave scene and the Friday nighter was still very busy with people coming from all over the country.
