Not sure I'd want Akinfenwa, yeah the guys pretty good but he is so out of shape it's beyond a joke. Never seen such a large professional footballer, at some point thats going to surely affect his fitness as he's getting older.
Ahh, then you never saw archie gemmell playing for derby or frncis lee at man city:smile:
I did & they were skeletal compared to Akinfatgit
I saw Archie Gemmell on holiday in Tenerife in 1978 and he was positively sylph like compared to Akinfatboi!Ahh, then you never saw archie gemmell playing for derby or frncis lee at man city:smile:

Cant see Akinfenwa coming PS was interested when he first took over but we as a club could not match his wage demands. Now we have Harris, Dickenson, Benyon, Corr, Sturrock, Asante, Bilel, Paterson who can all play up top. However the competition will be the first 4 and we may see Asante, Paterson and Blair off this month.
If we are going to bring in four I can see that being Timlin, a left back and a right winger or centre half.
I cant see the Tomlin from daggers being true when we have Lee Sawyer who could play there when fit
What will be interesting is what of the players are going to be making way now
What news of Matt Paterson? Surely with only 2 goals scored for the Accies and I think his loan expiring on 1st Jan 2012, he could be sent back to us.

Well at least Luggy is looking in the right direction. Most people on here have thought we need a decent left back, and judging by some of the comments on the link this guy just might fit the bill.
