Transfer News, Gossip & Speculation Transfer Thread - Summer 2025 Edition.

Transfer news
Ludwig Franchietti got a good write up by the poster identifying potential targets if i remember correctly. Maybe worth a shout ,im confident that JS ,Maher and co have run the rule over him and many others .Its DD after all

Both at Northern clubs, Dan Mooney never worked out. Always a gamble whether a player can settle in a different part of the country.

Before Christmas and before Gateshead lost their best players Regan Booty was was quality. Delivered great early crosses from any angle within 35yds.

They signed him from Maidstone and his dad used to play for us. So a move back south might suit. Besides he has already proved he can settle and play without fuss either end of the country.

Holding out for a move to the EFL, won’t be within our reach I suspect.

A well written piece by Off The Line Blog - big fan of their work in general.

One of his recommendations is David Kawa. Provides a bit more info as to his playing style - definitely the kind of player we’ve been missing in attack.
That article was a good read, some names I wouldn’t have considered.
Hope Kev & Co have some of these players on their radar .

Alex Newby signs for York from Alty - no idea if we were interested but decent signing and York doing business early
