Probably because he was a local non-league goalkeeper previously, and trained with the club ahead of a Wembley final.

Can’t see us looking at a new GK, unless one of our current ones doesn’t want to battle it for the number 1 spot, or be a sub.

Okay bit of a weird idea and may be its not achievable until we get promotion back to the EFL but it could be an idea to try and sign a player or two from weird countries with a staunch footballing interest.

Oxford signed an Indonesian lad and despite only playing an handful of games he has sky rocketed their social media following and revenue numbers in terms of shirt sales.

I'm not saying sign someone and not play them, we need to sign players who would strengthen the team but maybe this is a little outside the box they could consider.

I know they use scouting and data platforms that have worldwide coverage so a promising player can be identified much easier nowadays.
