Very decent player but still under contract with us, with another year and option for a further year too. He has just been named in the league two team of the season so I can’t see him leaving for a while.I’d like to get Payne back
Derek?!? ;-)I’d like to get Payne back
Bridge (29), Ralph (32) , Bonne (29) all expire next month. All 3 are important for these players offs. I wonder if it'll be their last?
That's good. I think he needs competition over a long season but certainly happy to be keeping him.I believe Bridge has triggered an additional year to his existing deal for hitting a certain amount of appearances.
Ralph is one of the last players I would be looking to lose and would be one of the more challenging to replace. What odds Ralphy to lift the trophy for his last game then joins John White at Chelmsford.
Ralph is good back up, he doesn’t have the pace anymore would like to get someone who is younger with a decent left footRalph is one of the last players I would be looking to lose and would be one of the more challenging to replace.
I assume it depends what league we're in. League 2 we'd need a replacement, but another season in the NL, I feel he has enough for another year. He didn't miss too many this season and he's an excellent defender. Not so quick, but our best defender in the air, rarely loses a challenge. As much as I like Ralph, we need to be a bit wary of offering him more than a year. At his age niggles will creep in and he hasn't had the best record of injuries.
He is also our last remaining player from the disaster years of back to back reelegations, if and when he does leave that period will firmly be in our rear view mirror
Agreed, and I hope he's offered a deal as soon as the play offs are over. Maybe that's why it hasn't happened as yet..Nathan Ralph is the first name on my team sheet the thought of not having him to select is ridonkulous
He can do one. An absolute rat a couple of years back, causing that major fight and abusing an elderly Southend fan.James Daly released from Harrogate previously at Woking was a target for us before
really do not need that much pace to play centre-back in the National LeagueRalph is good back up, he doesn’t have the pace anymore would like to get someone who is younger with a decent left foot
Probably up there as one of the best 1 on 1 defenders in this division and is brilliant in the air for someone that’s not majorly tall. Fantastic player imoRalph is good back up, he doesn’t have the pace anymore would like to get someone who is younger with a decent left foot
