Contracts expire in May mostly, why there have been plenty of signings announced already, since the end of the regular season.

Love that haha! Was he drinking out in Wembley after? How was he? He was one who looked particularly devastated at full time.

The whole squad attended the after party with family, COSU and the management team. All really gutted obviously, but not not beaten by the result. They'll be back harder next season. Alex McLeish and Steve Arnold was there too. Legend!

He looked exhausted for the last 10 minutes too. He could hardly kick the ball.

Technically contracts expire on 30th June in England. In Scotland they usually run until 31st May. So in most cases it depends country on country.

Our players are end of june, Some others !like scoutinf are end of may. Some were there with no new contract in place.

We enquired about Linney this season. Altrincham wanted a ridiculous sum of money that was quite out of our reach. Looks like Carlisle are going to try and repeat what FGR tried to do.

I would l love to know what the club considers a ridiculous fee for a proven goal scorer who can get you 20/25 goals and get us out of this league..

Surely if the club is serious about getting out of this league, then they are going to have to cough up the going transfer fee for a decent striker..

We need more goals as a team - not necessarily from 1 player. What if that 1 player gets a serious injury? Imagine if GSM had broke his leg in Sept - we'd have been staring at relegation!

I wish I could remember, it was one of those Tom Lawrence, "not for minuting" moments! It was extortionate though - I'm not talking a few hundred thousand.

There is always the loan market. A lot of the clubs in this league seem to exist on it.
