Transfer News, Gossip & Speculation Transfer Thread - Summer 2025 Edition.

Transfer news
Dan Quick at Eastbourne in the NLS is an interesting one. Former Crystal Palace youngster who signed a pro deal in 2021 before he reportedly had interest from both Southampton and Borussia Dortmund in 2022. Had loan spells at Dorking and Billericay before signing for Eastbourne. Seemed to be playing semi-regularly for them and doing well, but joined fellow NLS Welling on loan in January and went on to win the Kent Senior Cup with them as captain before being recalled. Eastbourne and Welling fans seem to have nothing but good things to say about him in terms of being a great player and a top bloke.

6’2”, 22 year-old ball playing centre back but can apparently play anywhere across the back line. Has played predominantly centre back, but played wing back for Eastbourne at times and sounds like he did very well. Quite a few seem to think he’s got the potential to go further on in the game and with Eastbourne just missing out on promotion, he may be open to a move up the pyramid. Maybe not as an immediate starter, but we need a couple of central centre backs, so he could be a great George Wind-esque understudy in that central centre back position.

I’d be amazed if he wasn’t on our radar at least.
