Oh it’s almost certain that he’ll read your post and schedule some extra sessions for the summer.

Yes, they are 5th division footballers - so their game isn't going to be perfect.
If his first touch was a little better he might be in Div 2.
If his finishing was a little better he might be in Div 1.
If his awareness of others was better he might be in the Championship.
etc etc.

That's why you need players that are effective at this level, rather than being the finished product.

if we had a few finished products we wouldnt be at this level, Also would mean we have some players with serious sell on fees . But happy he will red my post and get some more practice , player can never stop learning to better himself .

From what I heard about Charlie Ruff is that we were looking at him last season (23/24) as he was a consistent scorer but his work rate was poor so I don’t think we’ve ever tried to sign just watched him a few times.

Was going to say seems a Moncur style player, we’ve already done that experiment once

From what I’m told, this is partly true.

His name appeared, whilst looking at Luke Jenkins (centre half who went to Aldershot), and he impressed when we went there.

As you say, work rate was something against him, but after doing some DD (everyone’s favourite), we found out he didn’t live his life the most “professional”. Obviously, he is playing semi-professional, but we didn’t feel he could step up into the professional game with his lifestyle.

I don’t believe a bid was ever made, or we ever spoke to him.

I’ve never seen him play, so can’t comment on him in a playing sense.
