From which year. The "positive response in the comings months" is wearing thin

He wanted another £500 per week. The Zoom call cleared up what we all knew that the eyebrow raising striker is John Akinde. He was offered a deal that would’ve made him the joint highest paid player, he rejected and then subsequently got injured.
I’m glad he rejected it, especially as he got injured and has rejected us twice now. Let’s hope we can use that money towards someone else who actually gives a **** and wants to play!
Another reason to swerve this one!He wanted another £500 per week.
Just watched it thanks didn’t realise there was a new one at the time I posted.Watch the first part of the zoom meeting and hear from Rom himself
Or the lad from DagenhamWould love to sign Michael cheek - already scored 4 goals this season
Myles Weston?Or the lad from Dagenham
Or the lad from Dagenham
Yes that’s himMcallum?
I think we were interested in him before but it didn't materialise
God no not himMyles Weston?
Myles Weston?
Haha!!! Why not, I liked him.God no not him
If I remember correctly, his dad is a shrimper.I never really rated Weston, overall I thought he was disappointing. However the one game that really mattered at Wembley he got the most dramatic assist, plus scored a great pen in the shootout. A legend for that one game alone
Back on topic Michael Cheek... if we couldn’t afford Akinde’s wage demands, I wonder if Cheek, with a great goal scoring record in non-league would be available for much less… Plus I guess we’d need to pay a transfer fee. Probably not realistic IMO.
I am not sure McCallum (27) is better than Dalby (21) who already looks like an exceptional talent. Indeed, I would not be surprised if Wrexham make a move for him after his performance against them.Yes that’s him
Thought that was why we bought Dennis in. Personally do not think the wingback role suits himI’d like to see a pacey striker in the Theo Robinson mould brought in to give us something different up top.

Personally, I think Southend need a new striker that would not break up the Dalby-Murphy but would nevertheless keep them on their toes and be a competitve replacement if either was injured. I think Mike Fontop would come into that category, but I am not sure he is still available.
Yes, McCallum is a 6'3" striker and is on a 3 year contract with Dagenham. Is Mcallum actually a striker though. I thought he was an attacking midfielder.
With a reputation for poor tude. Maybe he has matured a bit....Time will tellYes, McCallum is a 6'3" striker and is on a 3 year contract with Dagenham.
