A Bit of Fun Transfer Rumours Thread (Potential New Signings)

True but more recent experience tells us if a manger doesn't come out with with these kind of statements he gets slagged.

PB has been around long enough, he is actually doing CP a favour with all his comments......If truth be told.
He must be working his socks off.

Who won’t be excited are the trialists. He’s basically said no thanks there. Even if we do sign one of them they are going to know they weren’t first choice.
As Rigsby has indicated above, trialists know they're not first choice, that is by the very definition of the word. They're chancers, posturing for a contract, in the hope that someone will see something in them that others haven't. We didn't need to ask Jake Hyde to come for a trial before trying to sign him, as would presumably be the case with this new target. Yes, it's a little insensitive of PB to make that statement........but nothing more than that.

Akinde would be top signing. Could imagine his wages being an issue and the fact he 32, not sure if that warrants sufc paying that sort of wage.
That he is 32 could be used as a bonus, 2 year with a 3 year option based of games and goals? Final career move?
If he hangs on at Gills until he is 33 and not had much game time for the season he might be unhappy with his, then available, options and security?.

If we could get akinde on season long loan where sufc and gillingham pay half each of akinde wages..... that would be decent deal for sufc.

That's if we are after akinde still or akinde willing to drop to the National league.

How about toyosi the striker netted a hat trick yesterday for Billericay I don’t know what sort of player he is what he’s done or where he has been but could it of been him brown went to watch?

doubt it will be a loan .Brown stated if he could get the player in then he wont need the players on he is running the rule over right now .So i guess if it happens it wont be a loan .
