Anyone who wouldn't have Mohsni back is absolutely mental. The best player at the club by far, who cares about his attitude? Despite what people try and think, we're not a family team, we're not a team that particularly inspires loyalty from anyone. Football is a kill or be killed sport, you have to do what is right for you in the moment.

Has he made mistakes? Of course, and his current sulk in France is the perfect example of the type of human he is. But as a footballer, for gods sake, what excitement he has given us over the last couple of years, amidst the absolute dross we've had to put up with.

Mate, how can you say that? We're a League Two club. 90% of the clubs in this division would not be in a position to turn down a six figure fee for ANY of their players. It's a testament to the clubs that teams are interested in our players - and teams from a much higher division than us. It's only football mate, things will come our way again.

I think our spine is better than it was last season. Smith, Cresswell, Spicer and Eastwood is far superior to what we had this time last year. Hall is a massive loss but I think Dave Martin can be very, very good at this level given games. We just need to get in a few quality loanees and we'll be fine. Ferdinand a lot of people wouldn't have cared about leaving a few months ago so it's only really Hall who's the big loss.

Hall and Ferdinand are both good players but if we can sell them to ensure that the club continues then that is good common sense.

Neither of them are irreplaceable and Martin, Hurst and Tomlin are all pretty good wide players for L2 standard. Sounds like we do need a new CM pretty quickly unless Woodyard can step up to the challenge?

I don't think it's great, but it certainly doesn't make us a joke. If Peterborough offer £200k for Kane and Blackpool offer £250k for Hall, we can't really say no can we. If we don't get any in, I'm sure it's not because Sturrock has forgotten it's deadline day. We'll have to make do with what we have a for a few days and then maybe look at loans next week, or recruit from the hundreds of free agents available. We've obviously got issues with signing players and whatever these are, I'm pleased that PS isn't signing crap to fill seats on the bus. That said I've not been too impressed with some of his summer signings.

id rather get loan players in rather than free agents with free agents you tend to find that they are not fit
how many free agents have we got in over the last 18 months only to find that they are not fit
