The problem here is that, this late in the window we may have no choice. Sell to get them off the books, including Moshni to Celtic if at all likely and at least then have the finances to bring a few replacements in. The fact that PS is talking to four or five targets suggests that these moves are likely. Like it or not, there is no point in having two or three players, especially first teamers on our books who dont want to be here. I wouldnt blame Hall or Kane wanting to leave and better themselves, whereas Moshni must just go....whereever and whoever wants him. We can not waste money on wages for people like this.

Fry knows the mess we are in and has bid accordingly - we desperately need interest from another club to help push the price up to what they're worth which has got to be nearer to 400k for the pair.

But all of those players had more than 11 months left on their contracts, makes such a massive difference to values but for some reason many football fans just don't seem to be able to grasp that fact!

I don't think it makes a massive difference at all, to be honest. Not at this level. Plus I'm pretty sure that some of those players quoted were in the last year of their contract.

Surely the club wouldn't accept £200k for the pair? :omg:
If they do it would just go to show how deep the doo-doo they are really in :stunned:

As I said a few days back. Every club knows just how skint we are.

Posh have played the game perfectly.

As Chris P has said. We have to get cash in today. If that means being mugged off, then so be it.

If we reject 150k for a player that has no future at the club, then 200k for two of our most regular players should be seen nothing other than abysmal. If we are so desperate for the money that offer from the spammers would have been accepted.

I'd accept that for each of them, but for them both unless there are exorbitant add ons, that's a derisory offer.

I think CP is spot on with his tweet, 350K is acceptable with a few add on's including Posh staying up and a nice 15-20% sell on for each of them. 200K isn't enough IMO.
