You're moaning about moving 1 player out of position (which he wouldn't be as that is his normal position) and then suggesting to have 2 players out of position!! :stupid you:

But Bolger would still be on the right side, rather than having to be on the left which he has no experience in playing. At least John has and can play the left back position.

Don't think Bolger will be put out of position, same goes for Sokolik, it's being put out of position is one of reason why he come back to us on loan. I think one change for LB position, as if the team is winning, don't change it!

I already put a Tranmere win as one of my betting coupon, I be happy to lose at least £80 if we win!!

Your original post said that they had Bolger out of position when he wasn't. Think you meant Prosser?

The top post is the post I responded to, most people usually post the team reading along the line, this post clearly has Bolger at left centre back and Prosser at left back. Bolger is a right footed player and has had a troubled time, there's no way at all I want him playing "wrong footed".

For that reason I am saying that if we don't want Binnom-Williams starting at LB, then I would rather White started there and put Bolger to right back, leaving Sokolik and Prosser in the central positions.

I played CB plenty back in the day. I am left footed and was comfortable on the left or right at CB. Played LB plenty and even played RB a few times and felt comfortable. I know the game Bolger plays is at a much much higher level than I ever played but he is a professional. Do you really think he couldn't play comfortably on the left side of the CB position?

I have no idea, I just wouldn't want him to be put under that pressure. If he screwed up then he'd be absolutely massacred on here.

Centre Halves do prefer to play on their given side, of course they can play the other side, but some are uncomfortable doing so, it adds a level of uncertainty to their game.

This will of course vary player to player and Id imagine affect younger players less.

Had an odd dream last night (genuinely!). We were ahead 4-0 (unlikely I know!) and then at some point had three player sent off. one was White, don't know about the other two. They've then pulled it back to 4-3 but I don't know how it finished as I woke up!

Off to the bookies now!

same 11 as last week then

subs, smith, solokik, weston, atkinson, clifford, williams, coulthriist

If we change the team and lose, that would be a bad management from PB, so it's right to keep the same team who won last week.

Blues: Bentley; Thompson, Bolger, Prosser, White (c); Worrall, Timlin, Leonard, Hurst; Payne; Corr.

Subs: Weston, Atkinson, Clifford, Coulthirst, P. Smith, Jerome Williams, Sokolik.

Just in case ; the team sheet for today
