You need to phone FGW and get those seats reserved, especially if you have Kids with you. If all the seats are reserved it doesn't matter how early you get there they may well not let you on.[b said:Quote[/b] (Blue Streak @ May 25 2005,19:30)]Booked my tickets via the FGW website on Sunday to ensure I got seats. Tickets turned up today and my tickets say NO SEATS RESERVED. This didnt happen when I did the same for the LDV final.
I'm on the 10.45 out of Paddington.
Anyone else experienced this ?
I'm gonna get to Paddington well early. I dont think I can tolerate my two young sons moaning cos they wanna "sit down" and cant.
Its all a shambles. There are no rules. Seems like a lottery.
I'm on coach B as well, seat 51. Will be sitting with, or near, Matt the Shrimp and Spaceman Spiff.[b said:Quote[/b] (Andy_S @ May 25 2005,19:10)]Our tickets were picked up today and as FGW said, we have had seats reserved for us, in coach B actually. If we ever have to go to this bloody stadium again, booking directly through their site is obviously the way to go.
Very near - I'm B52 IIRC, lucky you![b said:Quote[/b] (W4 Shrimper @ May 26 2005,09:11)]I'm on coach B as well, seat 51. I got on a train to Cardiff couple of years ago with Bashful Shrimp, and we luckily got a seat even though it was packed with other Irish rugger fans. This was at 8am, for a 2pm kick off. Even if the seats are all taken up, you'll have to be prepared to stand for 2 hours. They'll still let you on, even if you dont have reserved seating.[b said:Quote[/b] (Shrimp in a Kilt @ May 26 2005,00:28)]You need to phone FGW and get those seats reserved, especially if you have Kids with you.
