Our tickets were picked up today and as FGW said, we have had seats reserved for us, in coach B actually. If we ever have to go to this bloody stadium again, booking directly through their site is obviously the way to go.

Booked my tickets via the FGW website on Sunday to ensure I got seats. Tickets turned up today and my tickets say NO SEATS RESERVED. This didnt happen when I did the same for the LDV final.
I'm on the 10.45 out of Paddington.
Anyone else experienced this ?
I'm gonna get to Paddington well early. I dont think I can tolerate my two young sons moaning cos they wanna "sit down" and cant.
Its all a shambles. There are no rules. Seems like a lottery.

You need to phone FGW and get those seats reserved, especially if you have Kids with you. If all the seats are reserved it doesn't matter how early you get there they may well not let you on.

I'm on coach B as well, seat 51. Will be sitting with, or near, Matt the Shrimp and Spaceman Spiff.

See you Saturday!

I'm in the 40's somewhere.

Now I know in advance where the noise around me will be coming from then.

I got on a train to Cardiff couple of years ago with Bashful Shrimp, and we luckily got a seat even though it was packed with other Irish rugger fans. This was at 8am, for a 2pm kick off. Even if the seats are all taken up, you'll have to be prepared to stand for 2 hours. They'll still let you on, even if you dont have reserved seating.

If anyone had asked me I could have popped down to Paddington on their behalf, I work round the corner. Never mind. Too late now

true but having a ticket with that journey specified gives you a pretty good grounding for getting on that train

i also found out the NEVER allow every seat on the trains to be booked up - so there will be some seats and getting there early is best bet to ensure you get on

we got 8 unreserved seats together

no porblems whatsoever

trainline.com - couldn';t organise $%&* up in brewary!!!

Well went to Chippenham to get the 11:10 (10:00 from Paddington) but it never existed. Luckily the earlier train was delayed arrived at .........11:10. Got a seat after Bath. Changed at Bristol but Wessex trains only put on 2 carriages. They did apologise and asked nicely if some of us could get off as the train was too full. Needless to say no-one got off and the train still continued cramped like sardines. (Met a nice girl called Sue who knew me from school 30 years ago.) Going home got a seat all the way back. Tickets booked thru' Trainline .com.
