By a similar token, if your tube is delayed by 15 mins or more, you're entitled to a refund for the entire cost of your journey...so claim it!

LU keep quiet about this particular policy (unsurprisingly) but there are forms at every station. Pick one up and claim back your money.
Indeed, as set up in the customers charter by My Grey himself John "Green peas for tea Norma?" Major.

I know I hardly use the tube much, but theres usually a train every few minutes or so. I never thought that there would be many tube trains running 15 mins late...

Signal failures will often **** things right up - Baker Street is renowned for it, I think the signals there are made of Lego or something.

This is particularly so outside the centre of town, where there's only one line, so you don't have the option of another route.

I've claimed back plenty of fares from LU over the years.

The b@stards have put my Burgess Hill to London Bridge ticket up from £265 to £290 pcm.... £35 for the same trip is a p%&s take.

Asked the bloke at the station how they can justify the rise and he said if I dont like it walk......f%&king dullard....

With an Oyster Card bus fares are £1 single in the am rush hour and 80p single for the rest of the day.

Cash is £1.50 single now no matter when you travel.

Thieving b*****ds!!!

Think i'll stick with getting a London travelcard then. Works out a hell of a lot cheaper.

glad to hear it.

Was going to say that the Southchurch Village station is indeed being redeveloped. I am not sure but I have heard they plan to put the main building on the Ambleside Drive side of the station. Which could mean us northerners having to dart over the bridge to get in.

the main part already is on that side, isn't it? The ticket office is..........

You are slightly out there, I think you are confusing Ambleside Drive (Woodgrange side) for Riviera Drive (Southchurch Road)

I didn't realise that, it's outrageous.

I've e mailed a complaint to TFL, but not expecting much sympathy.

Rip off Britain, esp London, continues.

What next, £23 to watch an away game at Swindon...?!

Went to get a London travelcard at Pitsea station yesterday, and it was actually cheaper than usual. Used to cost me £10-11 and now it's only £9.25
biggrin.gif

BTW the reno down at Pitsea station is really impressive now. Used to look a right dump.
