Didn't go to the game, but having seen the goal on sky a few times I think Bentley will be dissapointed with that one. The guy took it well but not sure Bentley should have been beaten from there.

The windy conditions played havoc with the game.
Prosser at one stage hoofed the ball upfield for it to curve in the wind and more or less come back to where he kicked it from.
Torquay looked like before we scored they were expecting to be defeated, but when the goal went in (could Bentley have got down quicker) They woke up and the penny droped they were as good as us, but NOT better.
Its one defeat. The game was a real lottery that went against us.
Yes we should have played it on the floor not just balls into the box that were MOSTLY taken away by the gusty wind.
We had to lose sometime (we all know what we are like in December and January)
It needed a calm head to put the foot on the ball and play it on the ground after the goal went in, but a few panicked.
Not the end of the world Rochdale is more important.
Well done the i think it was 181 fans who on the Torquay forums say we were the loundest away supporters so far this year.
Just dont understand why about 2 or 3 have to turn on the players.
The old boy who was swearing at Kiernan. You should hold your head in shame at that disgusting behaviour especially near his family. I hope those who know who he was had a word on the way home.
Hopefully Southend United had a bad day at the office. We all have them.

Good sensible post

Also did not go yesterday, only third missed league away games this season, sounded disappointing listening to radio commentary. Really pees me off those that have a go when we lose and we do not perform to our best, can remember other occasions in recent times usually when a good run comes to an end. So many good away performances seen this season i.e Chesterfield, Exeter, Portsmouth, Oxford, Burton, Hartlepool far outway the bad. Wish these so called supporters would just keep their opinions to themselves, it does not help the team who obviously do not under perform on purpose.

Just arrived back from West Country and with few fans there, feel the need to report on a dismal display v very poor opposition.Unbelievably,in the 1st half, with the gale behind us,Corr was on his own up front and I mean on his own.Except at set pieces, nobody else went anywhere near their penalty area!Marks:
Bentley 4 made one excellent save but this was necessitated by one of several weak flaps at crosses.Twice he seemed to have gifted them a 2nd goal by scuffing the ball straight to an approaching forward.Needs to be doing his learning from the bench.
White 5 generally ok but badly positioned when they scored.
Coker 5 steady but threatened to repeat that Scunthorpe goal with a couple of dodgy headers.
Kiernan 6 pick of the defence though even he badly misplaced a couple of passes.
Prosser 4 has been very good in recent games but sadly this was the Prosser we know(and fear)only too well.
Hurst 6 nothing special but his crosses were our main hope.
Laird 5 well below his best.
Clifford 6 gets around well and gets stuck in.
Timlin 6/7 also covered a lot of ground, retained possession well and sought to make incisive passes.
Straker 5 shows good footwork and speed but end product is never there.
Corr 6 tried really hard but it's very difficult on your own when you lack pace-missed an easy chance when he and Fred broke clear near the end.
Subs:4 for each:Leonard looked rusty,Payne kept trying to dribble before he'd controlled the ball and nothing came off for Fred-apart from his lay-off to Corr(see above)
